Warranty Policy

Built To Be Worn. Backed With Confidence.

Every PRKN watch is created to celebrate a story, milestone, achievement or legacy. We take pride in the quality of every project and stand behind our workmanship.

This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and what to do if you experience an issue with your watch.

Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Period

PRKN Watches provides a 12 month limited warranty from the date of delivery.

What Is Covered?

This warranty covers defects resulting from manufacturing, assembly or workmanship issues, including:

  • Mechanical movement defects

  • Assembly faults

  • Manufacturing defects in PRKN-produced components

  • Faults that affect the normal operation of the watch under intended use

Where a valid warranty claim is identified, PRKN Watches will assess the issue and determine the most appropriate solution, which may include repair or replacement.

What Is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Scratches, dents or cosmetic damage caused through regular use

  • Impact damage

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Exposure to chemicals or extreme environmental conditions

  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • Damage caused by failure to follow recommended care instructions

Custom finishes, coatings and materials may naturally change over time through normal use and are not considered defects.

Water Resistance

Water resistance ratings are intended as a guide only and are not permanent.

Over time, seals may degrade and water resistance can reduce.

As a general guide:

  • 3ATM – Splash resistant

  • 5ATM – Suitable for light water exposure

  • 10ATM – Suitable for swimming

Water damage is not covered under warranty unless otherwise stated in writing.

Custom Built Watches

Every PRKN watch is custom designed and assembled.

Minor variations in colour, finish, texture or appearance may occur between approved designs, digital renders and the final completed watch. These variations are a natural part of the custom manufacturing process and are not considered defects.

Servicing

Like any quality timepiece, periodic servicing is recommended to maintain performance and reliability.

We generally recommend servicing every 12–24 months depending on the movement and how the watch is used.

Authorised Servicing & Repairs

To ensure ongoing performance and reliability, servicing and repairs should be carried out by PRKN Watches or an approved service provider.

Unauthorised repairs or modifications may:

  • Compromise performance

  • Affect water resistance

  • Cause additional damage

PRKN Watches reserves the right to decline warranty claims where a fault is determined to be linked to unauthorised work.

Making A Warranty Claim

If you believe your watch has developed a manufacturing or workmanship fault, please contact us with:

  • Your name

  • Proof of purchase

  • A description of the issue

  • Supporting photographs where possible

We may request that the watch be returned for inspection before a warranty decision is made.
